Wordy Wednesday: New York City Themed Posters and Signs

New York City is kind of a mystery to me.  I think of all the famous locations, like Times Square, the Statue of Liberty, Ground Zero, Broadway, the Brooklyn Bridge, the Empire State Building, and Central Park.  When I finally get to NY to visit, I know I'll need at least 2 weeks to see it all!  I hope I get that chance. 

In the meantime, for all you native New Yorkers and lucky folks who have spent time exploring the Big Apple, here are some fantastic prints and posters to remind you of the city you love.

Mother's Day Gift Signs & Posters

Believe it or not, Mother's Day is not too far off  - Sunday, May 13th, 2012 to be exact.  I always struggle with what kind of gift to give on Mother's Day (and I'm sure many other children and dads do too!)

One of my favorite custom signs that I made this past year is this one made for my customer's wife and mother of their six children for her birthday. 

"Ask not what your mother can do for you, but what you can do for your mother."

What a perfect quote for a Mother's Day gift!  But...the $75 for the hand-painted wood sign isn't in everyone's gift-giving budget.  So, as an alternative, I made a digital version that can be printed and framed in sizes starting at 4" x 6".  I'm thinking it would be perfect to display in the kitchen, or den, or any room where "Mom" spends a lot of time!
