When can I expect my sign order to arrive?

Most sign orders are painted and ready to ship within 10 days.  I generally paint on Tuesdays, so orders placed by Monday evening are typically painted and shipped by Friday the same week.  Orders placed Tuesday or later will be painted and shipped the following week.

Holiday season schedules will vary from this schedule due to high volume demand and my availability.  Shipping estimates will be noted in the shopping cart.

I ship via USPS Priority Mail, which can take up to 3 days.  You will receive an email when your order is shipped.  At any time, you can log into your account and check the status of your order.

 

How is shipping calculated for my sign order?

Your base shipping cost is calculated according to the size of the largest sign you order. 

1ft sign - $6
2ft sign - $10
3ft sign - $12

Each additional sign included in your order will add an additional $5 shipping.

Do you ship internationally?

At this time, I ship only to US addresses.

 

What is your cancelation and return policy?

Any cancelations must be made the same day the order is placed.  Once the custom creation process begins, an order cannot be canceled.  

If for some reason you are not completely satisfied with your sign, please contact me immediately.  I will personally review return and refund requests on a case-by-case basis.  In the event of a sign arriving damaged or with incorrect spelling/information, etc. I will be happy to replace your sign.

 

I want something a little different on my sign than what your order form allows.  What should I do?

I'll be happy to work with you to create the sign that is *just right* for you.  If you'd like any variation of my signs (including font, size, color or text length variations etc.) just fill out a Custom Sign Inquiry explaining exactly what you'd like on your sign.  I'll review your request and email you with a quote.

 

How do you calculate the cost for custom signs?

Custom signs usually start at $55 which consists of a base price of $40 plus a $15 design fee.  Any additional fees are added based on the size and complexity of the sign (ie. if the sign includes multiple lines of text, or has multiple colors, or uses a complicated or particularly small font, etc.).  If a custom request is a relatively simple sign, I will adjust these fees and charge appropriately.  All prices for custom signs will be agreed upon before the sign is painted.

 

Can I display my sign outdoors?

The short answer: Yes, unless it has a paper overlay. 

The long answer: When partially protected by an eave or porch, your painted sign should hold up very well over time with minimal changes.  If your sign is displayed in a location where it is completely exposed to harsh elements such as wind, sun, rain, heat, cold, ice, etc., it will certainly continue to weather and distress over a long period of time.  The rate of weathering is unpredictable and will vary based on the location of the sign, weather conditions, and texture of the board. I've found that it tends to add a natural element to the distressed look that is already present.   All my signs do have a protective clear coat added to them to help preserve the paint.

Please note, however, If you have chosen to add a paper overlay to your sign, it is NOT suitable for outdoor display as heat, humidity, and other weather factors will ruin the overlay, and subsequently, the painted sign.

All of the (de)Signs by Andrea products are designed by me, but processed, printed and shipped via my Zazzle.com store.  Once you place your order through that shop, you will need to contact Zazzle directly regarding any questions about order status, shipping, returns, etc.

 

When can I expect my (de)Signs by Andrea order to arrive?

You can see Zazzle's estimated shipping costs and delivery times for various product types and delivery locations here.  You can also log into your Zazzle.com account at any time to check the status of your order.

 

Do you ship your (de)Signs internationally?

I'm proud to say that Zazzle does ship my (de)signs all around the world!  You can view their international shipping rates and policies here.

 

What is your return policy?

Zazzle has an excellent return policy.  If you aren't satisfied, they'll take it back! 

 

How do I customize the colors / fonts / images / etc.?

If the (de)Sign you have chosen is a customizable product, you can click on the "Customize It' button beneath the product image to reveal the editing features.  From there, you can use the editing menus to adjust the background color, font styles, text size etc. to your liking.

 

Do you make custom (de)Signs?

Sometimes. :) Contact me with your idea and I'll certainly consider it!

 

Can I combine my wood sign order with my (de)Signs order?

Unfortunately, no.  Since I do not print and ship the (de)Signs orders myself, if you'd like to order both a wooden sign and a poster, they will have to be placed as separate orders.
