Mother's Day Gift Signs & Posters

Believe it or not, Mother's Day is not too far off  - Sunday, May 13th, 2012 to be exact.  I always struggle with what kind of gift to give on Mother's Day (and I'm sure many other children and dads do too!)

One of my favorite custom signs that I made this past year is this one made for my customer's wife and mother of their six children for her birthday. 

"Ask not what your mother can do for you, but what you can do for your mother."

What a perfect quote for a Mother's Day gift!  But...the $75 for the hand-painted wood sign isn't in everyone's gift-giving budget.  So, as an alternative, I made a digital version that can be printed and framed in sizes starting at 4" x 6".  I'm thinking it would be perfect to display in the kitchen, or den, or any room where "Mom" spends a lot of time!

I love this quote, but instead of mother's day how about to kids as birthday presents?? Would be good gift for teens on up to age 50 or so.

The idea of a customised sign is a great way to make Mother's day unique. My mother's birthday is the day after Mother's day so I tend to merge them and get here something special... This could just be it for this year :)
