Zazzle Canvas and Poster Review - Phil 4:8 Artwork
Every once in a while I order several of my own (de)Signs to keep as samples. It's so important for me to be able to hold them in my hands and make sure they look they way I expect them to look. After all, just like all my customers, I usually see the digitial version...and not the final product since Zazzle does all of my processing, printing and shipping for me.
So, in order to check some of them out and look them over, I recently ordered an 11" x 14" wrapped canvas and 5" x 7" print of my "Whatever Is.." Philippians 4:8 artwork to see how they compared to the digital versions that you see in my store:
So here's the real-deal product, hanging on my wall - an 11" x 14" Wrapped Canvas:
The colors are vibrant and true to what I expected to see, the printing is crisp and clean, and the wrapped canvas quality is superb - just like it was when I ordered my You Are My Sunshine canvases.
You can see the subtle pattern in the background of the artwork that really makes the whole design unique:

I had the 5" x 7" printed on Zazzle's Value Poster Paper (matte), and it turned out really nice too. It printed as a slightly darker color than the canvas, which I'm pretty sure has to do with the paper quality. I imagine that the Poster Paper Semi-Gloss version would print a little brighter.
The little 5" x 7" print looks so great in a white frame and would be a perfect little addition to a shelf display in an office or living room.
It's hard to tell in my photograph, but you can still see the subtle texture in the background. Since it's smaller (printed on 5" x 7") and on a matte finish paper, it's just more subtle than in the larger posters and wrapped canvas versions.
My verdict - Both versions pass inspection - and boy are those canvases sharp! Now I can give this (de)sign my 100% great quality stamp of approval!

In my home office above my desk, I have a painting that reads "...when I grow up I want to be an artist." And wouldn't you know it? I think perhaps that's what I've been all along!
