Word Up! Signs Hung High
On-Display Thursday: Signs Hung High
When you stand in a room you subconsciously take all your surroundings in at once, absorbing all of the elements as a whole. So, there's no need to put everything at eye-level. To add dimension and depth to any room, try hanging your signs, words and artwork at different levels.
One of my absolute favorite ways to display artwork - especially words and signs - is to hang them high above windows, doors, archways, cabinets and more! When you hang a painted wood sign, a framed print, or even adding vinyl or painted words high on the wall, you help draw the eye around the entire room, giving it depth and interest. Plus, you get to send a little message to the room that helps define your space.
Here are some great examples of how you can display your wordy artwork way up high!

In my home office above my desk, I have a painting that reads "...when I grow up I want to be an artist." And wouldn't you know it? I think perhaps that's what I've been all along!
